Come and discover the object of the month and find out more about our history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of our 2019\u2019s International Day of Monuments and Sites celebrations \u2013 under the theme: Heritage and Rural Landscape, we select for this month a photograph that portrays the landscape of the Douro Region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can observe this photograph in the last section of the permanent exhibition at the Museum of the Oldest Appellation in the World.
