Come and discover the object of the month and find out more about our history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pickaxe was used to remove root suckers around the roots of the vine and excess buds to strengthen the plant. This instrument is part of the exhibition set which characterize the agricultural tools that shaped the Douro region.
