Come and discover the object of the month and find out more about our history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCompanhia Geral das Vinhas do Alto Douro is, with no exaggeration, the principal base of the trade in this city, being one of the greatest and most fruitful branches that promotes it; and the grand spirit that stimulates it, both in industry and in the general interests.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Agostinho Rebelo da Costa, 1789<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The price list used by the Company in 1959, is one of several objects that present the brand\u2019s evolution over time. Price lists, together with checks, printing plates and historic bottles, are some of the objects that are displayed in the seventh area of the permanent exhibition.
