Come and discover the object of the month and find out more about our history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This missal is distinguished by its ornamented cover with the coat of arms of the Companhia Geral da Agricultura das Vinhas do Alto Douro, which highlights the figure of St. Marta. Since this is the month in which this divine figure is celebrated, we took this opportunity to select this piece for the month of July 2021, at the Museum of the Oldest Appellation in the World.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The selected missal was produced by Tipografia R\u00e9gia, in the early 19th century. This copy comes from the company\u2019s headquarters, and was certainly the missal used in the liturgical celebrations of the Real Companhia Velha.
